Fall Event 2024

Innovation management faces a critical turning point. Many companies are drastically reducing or even eliminating their innovative ambitions to focus on core business activities. What was once considered an essential investment in the future is now often considered a cost burden.

Many trends and big ideas of the past decade fell short of their potential or couldn’t be integrated into the business because they were too distant of an addition to the existing portfolio. As a result, the board is no longer willing to invest in large scale into innovation projects and structures. On the other hand, decimating innovation efforts, as it is seen right now in many companies, is too extreme of a reaction. It wrecks learnings of the past decade and is demoralizing staff. What to do?

Innovation management needs to redefine itself if it wants to stay or get back on the road of success. At the ActionJam Fall Event, perspectives will be shared on how we need to rethink innovation management. We will have enriching insights on the topic: from c-level-members, corporate-start-up-investors, universities and international tech giants to established innovation managers. A unique mix to inspire new approaches.
